Silverman Law began practice as "Silverman & Silverman" in the 1940s. From the outset, the firm's sole concentration was in representing injured workers in the areas of Workers Compensation and Social Security Disability.

Our attorneys have attended literally tens of thousands of hearings, giving us invaluable experience in seeing the "big picture" regarding your claim, guiding you whether to proceed with litigation or to settle.

We have witnessed - and been part of - the development of the Workers Compensation Board and the Workers Compensation Law from the early paper days to the savvy high tech computer-based systems of today. In fact, Silverman Law can directly access an injured worker’s NYS Compensation file right from our office.

Ray Seligman joined the firm in 1976, and together with attorneys James Duffy, Lisa Tumminelli and Sunny Lee has continued to represent injured workers exclusively throughout the greater Capital Region.

Though asked to do so, Silverman Law represents NO insurance carriers. Our goal is to provide you, the Claimant, the very best in legal representation.
